Jatujak weekend market ban on smoking By-law No. 18/2007
February 11, 2008 Chatujak / Jatujak weekend market is one of the place already bans smoking at public places such as government buildings, train stations, hospitals and night clubs. All air conditioned bars, pubs, discotheques clubs open air eating places and markets areas are covered by the regulation. Owners of these places will also have to mark out smoking and no-smoking areas.
That’s good for the non-smokers who will not have to inhale secondary smoke, anyway smoking shall be permitted at 2 area in Jatujak weekend market where smoking is allowed

- First, at the place beside toilet No.1 close to Jatujak information center near gate 1
- and Second, in the section 7 near toilet No.2 at gate 2
* The smoking ban public places came into force on 31 May 2008. Anyone caught breaking the ban will face a 2,000 Baht fine. And there will be a 20,000 Baht fine for premises which fail to stop smokers

The Children's Discovery Museum
The close by attraction place at the Northern edge of Jatujak market (JJmarket).

Especially the interactive exhibition present "Disney Learning Town" for youngster and family from November 01, 2007 to December 31, 2008

The museum is open from 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday
and 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
